MAINTENANCE AND FLYING RECORD LOG VH-EBA

 

The following data was transcribed by retired Flight Engineer Officer Colin Lock from the original log held by the Qantas Heritage Collection. Minor maintenance has been transcribed only for the first twelve months of service by VH-EBA. Subsequently, only Periodic and Block Overhauls have been transcribed. The compiler advises that some of the digits have been amended and are subject to interpretation.

2. Destination or route of aircraft, e.g. UK-K, Vancouver, Avalon etc. (QEA aircraft only)
3. Arrival time at Sydney, ascertained from Shift Foreman's Daily Report. (All aircraft)
4. Duration of Flight (Air Time), ascertained from Aircraft Operating Times Form 7110, compiled by Technical Records. (QEA aircraft only)
5. Maintenance Routine check due before next departure. (QEA aircraft)
6. Any pertinent comment regarding delays, engine changes etc. (All aircraft)
7. Total arrival delays and total duration.
