Wearing the Qantas Flight Hostess uniform of the period, current Qantas
Flight Attendant Karen Glass poses for the camera with Engineering Manager,
Peter Elliott, prior to departure from Southend on 8 December. Karen
is responsible for cabin safety during the delivery flight and she also
attends to Customs and Immigration requirements at each port.
Karen's uniform is a replica tailored to fit her girlish figure although
the wings and buttons are the genuine article which had been gifted
to Karen by friends. The hat was on loan from the Qantas Historical
Uniform Repository.
