ARCHAEOLOGICAL DIG IN PROGRESS

During an excavation of the left wing, traces of Civilisation 138 (circa 1958) are revealed. This civilisation was blown away by a powerful vannus in 1961. Darryl Pitkin and Peter Elliott examine the surface of the original 707-138 wing and the mounting brackets to support the glove panel which was fitted as part of the 707-138B modifications in 1961.
